Smith Mountain Lake

Smith Mountain Lake is this amazing paradise in Southern Virginia where the family I work for has a lake house. The picture on the top is the house and the one on the bottom is the view from the deck out onto the lake. We are down here on and off this summer. This time for about two weeks. Different families will be coming to visit during that time which is fun.


This last weekend I had two friends (Sara and Darren) come down and we had such a fun time. They arrived here at the lake at about 3 am after getting lost and driving around VA for awhile. haha We all climbed into our beds for a bit of sleep and then all the fun began...




Jet ski fun... cruised all around the lake jumping wakes and having a blast. While taking these pictures, Darren and I tipped our jet ski completely over. I was holding the camera and by some miracle was able to hold my arm above water while the rest of me was dunked below and completely drenched. The middle picture is right after we fell in. haha







Knee-boarding, Super Mable, cruising on the boat, kayaking...fun! fun! fun!
