A lot has changed and yet so much has remained the same. In fact, I happen to be at Smith Mountain Lake as I type this which was what my last post (1 year ago) was about. haha Ok...quick update....
Back to school! After lots of thought and prayer, I ended up at Utah Valley University studying ASL Interpreting. Going to UVU, living with crazy roomies, and being in Happy Valley was not exactly where I wanted to be and the first semester was torture but by the end of the year I was liking it (for the most part) and finished with a 4.0!

For part of the year I worked for two cute families watching their cute kiddos. I got to spend my time playing house, swinging at the park, going on walks, doing puzzles, and snuggling. I also got to do lots of cooking for one of the families and loved it!
My favorite part of being in Provo was living so close to my baby brother, William. We got to hang out a ton and I loved it!! My siblings are my best friends! I also adore all his wonderful roomies who included me in things and helped me have a social life in Provo! We had lots of fun together!
Over one of the long weekends I took a trip to Arizona to visit my wonderful cousin, Rebecca. Two amazing guys came with me and we had a blast on this little road trip! I love these too and they also helped keep me sane while living in Provo.
Just before the semester ended I got the amazing opportunity to go to the Utah State Prison and attend the LDS church meetings in the men's unit. There was a new deaf inmate and I was able to volunteer interpret for him. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was incredible! I am hoping to go back when I am in Utah again this Fall.

Summer 2011 brought me back to good ol' Virginia! I am working for the same family I was with all last year and am loving every minute of it!! The girls have grown a ton and some things are different but it was completely natural to step back into it all.
Thats the long and the short of it. One year of my life in a nut shell. I am going to do my darndest to write more frequently from here on out. So much has happened already this summer alone so stay tuned for that update coming soon...
I am super excited to read about all your adventures! I miss you BTW!
